Travel blogger

Hi, I am Viktor!

Hi guys, my name is Viktor Bronner, a normal Swedish guy who is on a mission to visit every country in the world while maintaining a full-time job. The purpose of this blog is to document my journey visiting all the countries in the world and inspire you to travel more and in particular to the countries that are not your usual vacation destination. I believe that travel is not just about ticking off destinations; it’s a journey of self-discovery and an opportunity to experience everything that this planet has to offer before we die. My blog serves as a documentation of my quest to visit all the countries in the world, and my ultimate goal is to inspire you to travel more, especially to destinations that might not be your typical vacation spots.

So far, I’ve had the incredible privilege of exploring 78 countries, and the journey is far from over. Now, you might be curious about the exact number of countries in the world. Well, it’s a bit complicated due to disputed territories, but I’ve chosen to follow the United Nations list, which includes 193 countries. Additionally, I’m also visiting four other places – Kosovo, Palestine, Taiwan, and the Vatican, bringing my total target to 197 countries. But don’t worry, I won’t ignore the fascinating disputed areas like Kurdistan or Transnistria; they are all part of this grand adventure.

Through this blog, I hope to ignite your wanderlust and encourage you to explore destinations beyond the typical tourist hotspots like Cancun, Spain, or Southeast Asia. Life is too short to be confined to an office cubicle, waiting for retirement to experience the world. Instead, let’s embrace the present and live life to its fullest now.

Don’t forget to follow me on Instagram for real-time updates on my adventures. Together, let’s make the most out of life by exploring the world’s wonders, one country at a time.

Happy travels!
